(piano) was born at Atlantic City, Atlantic County, New Jersey on 5 September 1897, a son of Edward E. Irving and Annie M. Hill. His mother was shown in 1940 as Mary A. Johnson. Roland visited Bermuda in March 1920, when he was residing at 120 West 132nd Street, New York. Roland was associated with radio WDT, New York in 1923, and accompanied Joe De Liste. In 1940, Roland resided with his mother and stepfather (Sidney M. Johnson) at 19 Pavilion Street, Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut. Rolan (sic) C. Irving, reportedly aged 67, was residing at Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut when he died at Hartford on 14 April 1965. His widow was Cece Irving.
