In 1940, aged 3, she resided with her parents and siblings in Enumeration District 17-11, Beat 3, De Soto County, Mississippi. She recorded with a children’s group at Coahoma County School, Coahoma, Coahoma County, Mississippi during August 1942 for the Library of Congress.
