(gospel vocal) was known as The Gospel Queen of Richmond. She recorded in 1961 with the Six Trumpets. She recorded mainly traditional songs for Nashboro Records, between 1962 and 1967, presumably at Nashville, Tennessee. VISION OF THE SHEPHERD (#751) and THE ONLY WAY HOME (#762) are reportedly credited MAGGIE INGRAM with the Silver Stars. COME YE DISCONSOLATE (#804) and I’M NOT UNEASY (#820) apparently were issued simply as by MAGGIE INGRAM. From Nashboro Records #843 onwards, dating from about 1965 to 1967, the reported credit is to MAGGIE INGRAM with the Ingramettes. The titles included TIME IS WINDING UP (#843), GOD’S WONDERFUL LOVE (#868), GIMME THAT OLD TIME RELIGION (#884), SOLID ROCK (#894), and ONE MORE RIVER TO CROSS (LP #7051). The Ingramettes group included two of her daughters and two of her sons. Maggie died by June 2015.
