Its issues (derived from Folkways, Verve Folkways, (Danish) Storyville, R B F, (English) Blue Horizon, Advent, Muskadine, (Canadian) London, Just Sunshine, (Canadian) Stony Plain and other sources) were not limited to blues or gospel, and this listing is limited to issues including Africa-American blues or gospel performers, liberally sourced in 2019 from Stefan Wirz’s discography at www.wirz.de/music/xtra.htm. There were issues in an LP #1000 series and an LP #5000 series, and a sampler series. The #5000 series seems to have been limited to PRESTIGE BLUESVILLE reissues.

Issues #104, 107, 108, 109, 110 and 113 were released in 1958. Issue #120/121 was released in 1959. Issue #108 was reissued in 1963 as Times Square #11. Issue #110 was reissued in 1963 as Times Square #13.

Art Audio Pub.’s address was unknown to BMI as of 2013. MORNING ECHOES may be another name for The Morning Stars of Detroit.

Robin Leonard Gosden, a son of Annie Ethel Rider Smallpiece, was born at New Haw, Surrey, England on 23 October 1941. As of 2018, Robin resided at Gravesend, Kent DA 12, England, and his relatives included Ella Gosden and Teresa A. Gosden. Robin died in his sleep on 7 March 2023.
