Pat, a white woman, had been administrator with Ike from 1960. It acted as personal Manager in 1972 and 1974 for the Ike & Tina Turner Revue. Rhonda continued working for Tina after Ike and Tina split up.

(abbreviation) is the common popular abbreviation for the Illinois Central Railroad. Examples of its use in blues include: “Going to put my head on the I. C. track” (that is, commit suicide by having the train run over it); and SOUTHERN CASEY JONES (recorded by Jesse James for DECCA in 1936, in which he sings: “Papa got killed on the I. C. track”). The Yazoo & Mississippi Valley railroad was a subsidiary of the Illinois Central, and was eventually absorbed by its parent. By 2018 it was owned by Canadian Railways.
